Epox, Aeon Wraith

Dammit, color desaturation again.

Epox is a ghost kaiju, a giant monster formed from spirits of the dead.  In this case, it is the death of the dinosaurs.  When the meteor that caused the mass extinction crashed down on Earth, it carried with it a gem.  From the mass death and apocalyptic scenario that occurred, the gem, of weird properties, absorbed the souls of dinosaurs, hundreds of them, if not thousands.  The gem was buried under the earth for millions of years, until it was unearthed at the crater of the impact.  Upon excavation, a simple touch caused the gem to release its passengers as one monster - Epox, the Aeon Wraith.

Epox is intangible, and thus very hard to hit.  It doesn't hit hard in return, though.  It can breathe out streams of fire, thanks to the extinction event, but it can also travel through the earth almost unoticable.  That is because the gem is still buried, and moves along with the creature, under the earth.  Epox cannot be moved against its will, thanks to its ghostly powers.
