Figure 23 - Lady Ducain and Skull-Goon

Description

I've mentioned Lady Ducain several times, but never gave her real artwork.  While I am not satisfied with the quality of the art on this page, it will do for now.

Lady Ducain is her majesty, ruler and Queen of the country of Miir in the world of Girn.  She married into the royal family, and her husband is King Rikard the 2nd.  Rikard is weak-willed and rather forgetful.  He doesn't care too much for ruling the country; he's only king by dint of being firstborn son.  Ducain was a nobleman's daughter, who was arranged in because it was thought she'd bring in some strength to the faltering family.  Or she may have arranged the whole deal.

Lady Ducain is very clever, and more than a bit machivellian to hold on to her power.  She prefers doing the nice things in the public, while doing the more covert and secretive cloak-and-dagger in the shadows.  Because Lord Rikard is such a weak-willed fellow, she runs most of the entire country.  She was the one who hired Ilzara on for the captain of the guard position, much to the guards' grumblings.  One quick session of swordplay put that to rest.  She also has Snake Ukari working for her, and Ducain seems interested in finding more of these gorgons.  Ukari's role is pretty unspecific, but it does involve general adventuring.

The Skull-Goon is a Bhikal mook-type foe for Kamen Rider Wheelz.  The majority of the badlands world the Bhikals inhabit, no gang is complete without at least 5 of these punks.  They tend to be violent, disruptive, and rude.  Their brotherly bond in gangs tend to be very strong, and killing one will give rise to the ire of all the others.  They all wield a large, but crude, sword into combat.
