Skirutl, Almac Goddess of the Wind

Description

Skirutl is the Almac Goddess of the winds, storms, and, by a certain extent, electricity. She is very playful in nature, and her excitable personality sometimes grinds on the other deities.

Skirutl was once just a human, many hundreds of years ago. She ran away from an arranged marriage because she hated the hunter she was marrying, as well as the standards her tribe had placed forth. They weren't bad, per say, she just didn't like them. So, fate drew her near to the pyramids, where she found her way inside of one, and gained her powers and deity-hood.

Skirutl has many powers, and, being one of several core element gods, they are of no small heft. She controls the winds around the world, but only by legend. Due to treaties set forth early, she really only manipulates the wind currents in the south continent. She can whip them up to any speeds, as well as call forth clouds and storms. She also has the reality-altering miracle power, but she doesn't really find a use for it. Skirutl's animal avatar is a hawk, who's wings she wear as part of being a deity.

As noted before, Skirutl is rather playful. Playing hard-to-get is an understatement, and one of her favorite games is to appear to lone travelers in the rainforest and lead them on a merry chase. She can be distractable, but that's when she doesn't want to face something. Though the other gods have grown to take their powers for granted, Skirutl is always thankful for hers. She loves flying and wind manipulation, even if she isn't very responsible. She can be gotten to do some things, but it'l have to be a good friend of hers to convince her. But she does have friends among the pantheon! She and Auktolb-si get along very well, and she functions nicely with just about every other deity, except a few. Technotlifon represents the duties she hates to face, and she skirts around him. Xotachil is the only one who can keep up with her, which is no good thing, seeing as how he is purposefully as rude as possible. And Alzacarx? Well, no-one seems to like Alzcarax. Something about being a cannibal earlier in life...

Oh boy, Skirutl is the one that I have to most to comment about, and the least patience to do it with. My main struggle with Skirutl, and you may not notice this, is with a minor ethical problem about clothing. Well, I decided that any artist needed to do any style of art, and I was going to have to face that sooner or later. Doesn't make me exactly happy about sharing this. It's also the reason why this may be a little rough, though I decided to keep the lines around so folks could see details easier. I was also concerned about how much flak I would receive from females annoyed at my depiction and from over-reactive males. And those that exploit for dubious purposes, of course. That last one is the reason why I turned Zifeya away from the camera.

That being said, any comments or art help will be taken into full consideration, as we cap off the fourth out of ten!
